We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Like the above poster said, I like the fact that you flipped everything upside down - that really adds alot of interest. the weird colour cast that you gave it also shakes it up. (I'd like to know how you did that btw.) and of course the lettering on the image helps it out too. All in all a great piece.

i added a 'New Color Fill Layer' using a purpley colour, then set it to 'Exclusion' on the blending mode, and set the opacity to about 80%
i think i erased the fill that was over the sky so that it stayed blue compared to the other part
